Items you will need when bathing your baby

Of course you can wash your baby without the following items. But it's always better to be prepared.

Just gather together the items listed below and check them off your list. Leave them in the bathroom (except for the boiling water) so that you'll always be prepared come bathtime.

Baby bathtub with a textured non-slip base

Waterproof apron and plastic backing

Mild baby toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap)

Small bowl of boiled water that's been cooled

Cotton balls

Large soft towels

Sponge of soft washcloth

Clean diaper and clothes
