hey,

my partner is raising his ex-partners 13 year old son as his own.

i have to say i've been with my partner 2 years now and if he hadn't told me he wasn't really his dad then i wouldn't have known! They are so close, the boy knows my partner isn't his real dad as his mother told him last year, but you honestly wouldn't know they weren't really father and son.

the bond between them is amazing; they have so much respect and love for each other it really leaves you in awe.

it's great some people manage to raise other people's children, t must be incredibly hard to have that kind of love for someone else's child. i have a step-mother who i adore and the respect and love i have for her is all the more because i know she raised because she wanted to, not because she had to.

are you raising another mans child? how are you finding it?
