BabyPartner Forums: Stomach aches

I am not considered high risk, but I had a question and this is the best place I could find to post it. I am 16 weeks preg and I am 23. About 10 years ago I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. I went to a specialist a couple years ago who said my symptoms should stop when I became pregnancy. Well I am pregnant know and still have symptoms on occasion. Before being pregnancy my main symptom was relly bad stomache cramps and diarrhea. Since finding out I was preg I still have these horrible cramps and diarrhea but only about once a week or so. And when I am not haveing them I am having trouble with constipation. I talke to my dr. at my last appointment and she wants me to see another specialist for pain control. Well I don't have insurance and all my medical costs are coming out of my pocket so I can't really affored to go to another dr. She said the pain won't hurt my baby but I am still so miserable during all this. Does anyone have this or know anyone that does? Any help would be appreciated!!!!
