Spotting Question (poll)

I know that you sometimes spot in early pregnancy. I just wanted to know how early in your pregnancy does it happen, also how much you're supposed to spot and how long in usually lasts. Im spotting now and just started like an hour ago and got kinda scared. could somebody please help me put my mind at ease.
